The
Women's Self-Defense Course training program is an intensive
course designed specifically for women,
known for its no-nonsense-approach
to personal self-protection. The program is designed to address
the most common situations where aggressive physical conflict is
imminent, or has occurred, between a male aggressor
and a female.
There are no fancy or unrealistic techniques involved in the training.
All of the training is real-world applicable.
Recognizing
that every woman is a potential target of aggression, Women's
Self-Defense Course is designed to give women of
all ages the tools to effectively defend themselves in a variety
of life-threatening situations. The program addresses the fact that
most assaults against women are sexually motivated, and covers other
situational conflicts as well.
Students
are first taught to avoid confrontation. Then, as situational conflict
increases, women learn to create distance to escape. Next, students
are taught to temporarily incapacitate the aggressor, again creating
opportunity to escape. Finally, when other options are exhausted,
women learn to inflict physical damage, then escape. By using simple
and effective techniques taught in this process, women can successfully
counter men’s greater physical strength.
