INTRODUCTION
The BUJINKAN SHINOBU BUSHI KYOKAI is true Budo (Way of the Warrior). We train in Butaijutsu (Martial body skills). Movement is relaxed and energy conserving, focusing on using the body as a whole. Shinkengata (Real fight style) is the driving force behind the technique and is always stressed during training.
“Martial” is only one-half of what we refer to each other as. We are also “artists.” As an art student, one must find self-satisfaction through the appreciation of what is learned and created. The individual captures the feeling, just as if one was to walk into a museum and view a painting. We must never forget that the true feeling and purpose of Budo is spiritual development.
As stated earlier, the BUJINKAN SHINOBU DOJO trains in Butaijutsu. If someone was to ask, “What type of martial art do you study?” members of the BUJINKAN SHINOBU BUSHI KYOKAI reply with, “I study Butaijutsu.”
